Our History

Hennessy Information Systems Inc., was established in 1987, by Lionel and Nancy Hennessy. Lionel Hennessy passed away on March 14, 2005. He was our founder and fearless leader. He was an inspiration and mentor to so many people. He is greatly missed. In 2005, Nancy Hennessy retired and the business is now owned and operated by Frank Plut, Evelyn Mudryk, and Brad Mathers. The company has enjoyed steady growth since the beginning as a direct result of above-average customer satisfaction, and word of mouth referrals. We have a team of skilled professionals who are committed to deliver superior service on time and on budget. Members of our team have many years of experience and education in business and computer technology. We all share the same view that the clients needs come first, and we do our very best to deliver more than we promise. A long list of satisfied clients is available for reference.

	Frank J. Plut, Owner, MCP, IT Manager Frank specializes in the installation, configuration and maintenance of small to mid-size corporate networks, especially with Microsoft Small Business Server and Microsoft Exchange Server. He has serviced computers and peripherals for over 20 years in BC and in Ottawa. Frank has a experience installing, troubleshooting and operating a variety of computer software and products, especially in medical and dental software. Years of experience combined with his expertise have given Frank has a strong reputation with our partners and within the community.
	Evelyn Mudryk, Owner, Amicus Attorney Certified Consultant, Software Specialist Evelyn's legal support and administration background are beneficial in providing solid software support and service to professional offices. Evelyn has expertise in the support, troubleshooting, and training of all Microsoft products, all versions of Corel WordPerfect, Simply Accounting, PCLaw, and is a Certified Consultant for Amicus Attorney Practice Management software. She is also the general and accounting manager in charge of quotes and ordering.
	Brad Mathers, Owner, MCP, MCSE, Small Business Specialist Brad brings another level of expertise to the organization with his Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer designation. Brad is also a certified Small Business Specialist. Brad is a valuable asset in the design, implementation, and maintenance of Microsoft, and medium to large business networks.
	Fred Wicks, Network Administrator, MCP, A+, Network+ Fred joined the team in early 2006 after graduating from the Information Technology and Systems program at Malaspina University-College. Fred is a Microsoft Certified Professional, A+ Certified Technician, and Network+ Certified Technician. Fred is part of our helpdesk support, network administration, system analyst, and is involved in various aspects of our business. Fred is dedicated to expanding his skill set attending regular workshops, seminars, and gaining further certifications to ensure quality service.
	Tom Stephan, A+, MCP, Custom Application Programmer Tom has been with Hennessy since 2000, he has 15+ years of custom application programming and has an extensive background in many computer languages. Tom has experience programming inventory and medical office systems, cash control, and has obtained Windows NT server and workstation certifications. His skills in installing network hardware and software has also been a contribution to our company.
	Ray Farnere, Junior Technician Ray is our newest technician. Ray is currently enrolled in his second year of the Information Technology and Systems program at Malispina University-College. Ray is part of our helpdesk and support team and is also a technician in the field. He is working towards obtaining industry recognized certifications and gaining hands on experience with our organization.
